I made an order from broadcastingtoday.Biz and received an invoice from Newport Marketing with no physical address which made me suspicious so I subsequently emailed ([email protected]) to have the order stopped and not to charge my cc until the company could satisfy me they did not use spam. I phoned several times getting the answering machine.
I then got suspended from my affiliate program after they received many spam complaints. My email had an altered heading and no removal link! Their contacts were not opt-in as they told me and were not can-spam compliant.
I emailed again asking for the broadcast to be cancelled and I got a reply saying their leads are all opt-in but they would stop the mailing.
Well the damage is done and what can I do but apologize and warn others.
