Hotbar hooked me with a capability to add icon features to email which seemed to be pretty good. When hotbar indicated ads would be added to my PC in exchange for the icon feature, I assumed these adds would be limited to the screens when I would be using the feature... Not so. My system has degraded and pop-ups are appearing on any application I am using. To make matters worse, although hotbar says they have an uninstall, it does not work! My (HBUNINST) file is loaded to 63% and the proceedure stops!
Now I'm stuck with a degraded PC and an extraordinary number of advertizing pop-ups. I'm doing my best to notify subject advertizers of my displeasure with Hotbar and the corresponding advertizers support of hotbar. I hope the FTC/attorney generals/etc. Are not far behind in addressing this PC vandalism which is being perpetrated by hotbar (I intend to lodge complaints to those entities as well).
