A window popped up on my screen while looking at Hotbar.com info (which I also now have learned is Spyware), and would not let me exit. Not being a computer genius, I started hitting the clicker and entered their website, then just as quickly exited. It left my screen so I continued with my other downloading Hotbar. As I exited all I went back to my desktop and the Alyon window was still there. Being irritated, I clicked out and forgot it.
Several weeks later, I received a bill from Alyon for $151.59, for using their services for 31 minutes. I will NOT be paying these (censored)!!!
To make it even more real, they sent a lot of legal information, threatening to ruin my credit if I didn't pay. Would an honest business do this right off the bat, unless they had reason to believe they were sneaking around and causing people to enter their website accidently??? I DON'T THINK SO!!!
I am really tiffed and glad to hear about this website and that others are also experiencing the same problem. Keep us updated on any info on this scam, and inform users of Hotbar that they allowed this crud to access when you checked out their "fun" website.
