An internet company calling itself Hydra Financial Institution aka hydrafundiiifinancialloan stole my banking information/personal information while I was researching getting an internet payday loan. I was not aware of this Hydra Financial Institution and it was not one of the companies I looked into.
A week or so later I was checking my online bank account and saw a deposit of $250.00 had been made by Hydra Financial Institute. I have no idea how they got my routing number or my bank account number. I went to the bank and told them my account had been compromised and they immediately closed the account.
Today, August 29, a man calling himself Mr. Gray/Marcos calls a friend of mine asking her for personal information about me. She does not give him anything. So then I get a voice mail stating that if I do not call 866-556-7154 that several charges will be filed to the County Clerk's office.
I found this company online with several complaints. So I return the phone call and "Mr. Gray" tells me that I can settle the issue with him by paying $430 to him right now or go to court and pay them $1,225.00. He has my address, the last 4 numbers of my social security number, and thinks I work for UPS.
I guess he is not aware that in the state of Florida it is against the law to have more than one payday loan. He is ringing my phone right now as I am writing this. The message I get this time states that they are calling from Imperial Legal which is just another name for Hydra Financial and if they do not hear from me they are moving forward with the charges. I say good luck with that.
So people know that there are scumbags out there ready to pounce when you put any kind of personal information online. Knowledge is power ~ Don't let this happen to you.
