Www.hostanother.com have repeatedly caused harm to my business by having their incoming email server go down from Monday morning till late evening.in the last instance this happened 4 times in one month. Today I had no email from 6am till 11pm at night, causing me to lose business.
In addition, they have repeatedly failed to provide any technical support over the month of July, generally only responding to my support tickets several days after the incident, when help was no longer required.
As of tonight I have 5 open support tickets, initiated from day to 11pm, reporting the lack of email. Only at around 10pm tonight did they bother to start responding - and only then because I threatened them. But even that didn't help. My email only started arriving after I located Ripoffartist.com and told hostanother.com that I was going to report them there.
Having prepaid for business hosting package for a year in advance and hosting several domains with them, I have now realised they take your money and don't provide any technical support. Two months ago their server dropped my most popular site causing all recent updates to be lost and this damaged my business. Three weeks ago they lost all my emails over a 2-day period when their server was down.
All of this is inexcusable for a "business hosting package". I am now convinced they are fraudsters who have no intention of providing service to their customers. I want to warn other customers who might think of joining them to avoid them at all costs. They will and do harm one's business.
