I had met David Foster ceo of Hubze inc / Fanpage Engine on Elance.com where he hired to to finish development of his Page Builder App. I completed the work. Below is his rating for me and my work:
I have used MANY developers on projects over the years, and we generally have some VERY big projects, and Jeremy is among the best we have used. He is very professional and had things done in better than our deadlines. I would recommend Jeremy to anyone looking for quality work done quick! Thanks Jeremy!
After finishing this job David offered me to continue to work with him directly which I did. For several months I continued to develop apps for Fanpage Engine / Hubze.in that time I wrote there Deals App, Contest App, Sweepstakes App, and all the others including the admin area for each app. All was well in till things started getting tight for Hubze. At some point David must have decided that he cant pay me.
However he failed to tell me this and instead continued to let me work. When the time came to pay me he then told me he couldn't pay me. Had he told me this in advance I would have been fine with it however he did not tell me in advance. He just refused to pay me even though I was still working thinking I would be paid for my work.
When I found out that I would not receive compensation for the work I first quit working and then I decided to no longer allow David to use my facebook developers account and refused give him access to the apps I developed under my own account.
After 12 hours I decided to just give him these apps as denying David Foster / Hubze access to these apps would also deny his customers whom all ready paid. I did not feel it was fair for the customers to have to suffer because Mr. Foster is not a trust worthy employer. So I gave him the apps and then hoped he would prove to be an honorable person.
After waiting a week I still did not hear from David Foster / Hubze about payment for my last week of work, (during which I developed the EZ Leads app which they are now selling). Since I did not hear from them I decided to post a message on his facebook wall.
His response was to promptly delete the message and to start saying he had fired me from working for not doing my work. He also made a very foolish attempt to degrade my name and reputation. I wanted to respond to these degrading posts but he removed my ability to post on his fanpage. It seemed that he didnt wanted to only degrade me he didnt want me responding with the truth.
Im writing this as a warning to anyone who is considering working / affiliating with David Foster CEO of Hubze inc. If you decide to do this be sure your prepaid or something because David will refuse to pay you if it suits him.
If you are thinking of purchasing his products I must say they are very good scripts (I wrote then) but you might want to know that you are purchasing products from a person who decided to cheat the person who developed them.
