Domain.com had a glitch that would not allow me to purchase a domain name I wanted. It instead auto checked a domain I did not want and went strait to processing the order. I called in the next day to reverse the charges and get the domain name I was trying to purchase. The rep then said he put in for the refund request, and helped me to purchase the domain I wanted. I proceded to my account to see that the domain name had been purchased but the rep had spelled it wrong? I had to then call back again to fix the problem and the next rep told me I had to put in a refund ticket online and open a case (a new technology that had just been implemented). The case was not even responded to for many days, and I then received an email that the case had been closed. No person ever even responded to it? But they closed it with no refund. When I finally called in again the rep said there had been technical difficulties that had led to many people calling in with problems and assured me that the problem was on their end. He said the refund would take no longer than 48 hours from then. I just got another email saying the case was closed and the refund could not be processed.
I'm now switching companies to purchase domain names from. I just did my first transfer to godaddy and got the best customer service I have had in a while. Todd, Thank you for treating me with such respect. I never got that from domain.com.
