I saw the informercial of this company in 2002 and ended up purchasing one terminal by paying more than $13000. I was told many things about its profitability, ideal location etc. Which never materialized.
The machine remained idle for almost a year, finally it was installed in a location where the expenses are higher than what it generates. All the promises from nationwide about how they have an expert location dept etc turned out to be false. The worst of all, the so called 'regional director' assigned to me never bothered to respond to my letters or return any of my calls after he got my money.
He would call me at least 5/6 times a day until he got my money. He even convinced me wire the money instead of a check since 'he didn't want me to lose potential days of earning' and wanted me to talk to their location 'experts' right away.in hind sight, I am disgusted with myself to have fallen for it.
After almost a year, I installed the machine myself, there was no help. One of their location person, at least did arrange a location, but that's where the expenses (from dsl access etc) is more than what the machine earns. There are no advsertisement revenue as promised.
The company has stopped answering their phones although their promise is they will find alternative locations if one location doesn't work out for someone.
Basically it's a total loss, and there is continuous operational loss if one keeps the machine running. The company and their associated partner companies have found many ways of sucking more from you in the name of advertisement setup fee, monitoring fee, overcharged credit card processing fee etc.
People in the similar situation, please contact me if there is a way to recover the investment and losses.
