Much like many others on this website, we were cheated and Homeaway will not take any responsibility. Our sibling-in law reserved what we believed was an excellent long-weekend. Almost per month later, Homeaway delivered a "supportive" e-mail about how exactly the house operatoris e-mail have been compromised, but how they're not liable. Our sibling-in law examined using the operator and affirmed they'd no idea who she was (i.E. Our cash is finished and we've room to remain).
On the basis of the data we have since made up, it's been an issue to get a year or two, but apart from several "consider phishing" sees on the website, they wont do something about this. While my sibling-in law sent the homeowners to arrange our place, she'd no cause to consider the folks who answered were scammers. It wasnot some of those Nigerian prince offers. It was a relatively genuine deal. Homeaway is just a large organization having a lot of cash, however they WOn't pay the allegedly tiny proportion of individuals who've been offended. Good customer support, Homeaway. Real good.
