This website, www.thedownloadplace.com, advertises popular movies and TV shows for legal download. Their fee is $29.95 per year for unlimited downloads. However, when you start to download titles, none of the advertised titles are there, and there are a number of XXX titles instead. When I requested a refund — within 2 hours of signing up, and without downloading anything, they refused, stating that their terms of service do not include refunds because they are an "informational service." Watch out for this company, their parent company: Right Ascension Inc. — they have other websites as well. AND, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!
