I cannot "believe" these people stay in business!!! I currently am owed $169.00 for court records I collected. I have proof from invoices I submitted and I printed the submitted invoices from the Project Leads within this company for the work I did for the week ending April 1. My courthouse collecting was up-to-date so they started slamming me with these ridiculous "rush" Friday night/Sat. Morning records to be keyed from other states such as North Carolina and South Carolina. I was not hired to do this, I was hired to go to courthouses to research records and report the records. I was unfamiliar with the rush projects and I asked for some assistance with the courthouse website. This is when Jennifer Hood starting getting extremely ugly and unprofessional. She is their "human resources/operations manager." She would never last out in the real world. She is condescending and on a very "high horse" about herself. She whined about not being able to assist me because the office became "hectic" on a Friday afternoon. You know the old saying, "if you can't handle the pressure, get out." Anyway, this self-proclaimed "ops manager" refers to assisting a fairly new collector as "hand holding." Again, the high horse syndrome enters the picture. When I put her in her place via an email, telling her please do not treat people like this, she went crying to the owner (who I believe is a relative). This is when Mr. Wolfgang (owner of this dog-and-pony show) got involved. He is totally insane. He insulted me in emails over and over and over. He has threatened me with lawsuits over and over and over. LOL I will admit I lashed back, but I am not the company's owner. Subsequently, he terminated me because I refused to do the rush Friday night projects. I have a little girl I spend time with on the weekends. Anyway, yesterday was to be my last paycheck and my pay was not in my account. I submitted 8 invoices for 8 courthouses projects I completed during this pay period. Again, people, I have the proof that I worked. This is when the next batch of "insulting" emails started from the owner, Mr. Wolfgang. I am done communicating with these people. I thoroughly enjoy courthouse collecting.in fact, I have been hired and am currently as of now working for 2 brand new companies.in addition, I tested at a 99% standing for a data entry job and have been working that job also. I am also interviewing for a professional editor/proofreader job. You see, I don't need nor do I want to have "any" affiliation with an outfit such as Wolfgang Research. They are what I refer to as "BOTTOM FEEDERS" in the world of courthouse collection. They bait and switch assignments with you so that they can find the best profit margin for themselves. They claim I couldn't collect mortgage records. Hello, I currently collect mortgage records for a bank, it is easy. Much more easy than collecting probate records or state and federal tax liens. They claim I couldn't handle it, however, they never assigned it to me for my counties. However, they assigned me mortgages from North and South Carolina at 5 cents a record. Anyone see a pattern here? They play dirty and "are" dirty. I went to them "highly recommended" as they claim. And highly recommended is how I left them. With dignity and, yes, a MUCH BETTER weekly paycheck. My new part time jobs give me no aggravation, which is the way it should be. My supervisors are professional and friendly. Wolfgang sends threatening emails to their workers about the poor invoicing being submitted to them and that they have to start charging for incorrect invoicing. More than 1/2 of Wolfgang's communication to me had typos and grammar errors. They certainly don't practice what they preach. It's ok if their emails contain errors but their workers have to be 100% or they will be "charged a fee." I URGE anyone who has issues with this company to step up and speak out, I will be filing fraud reports with two agencies so that I can be reimbursed for the hours I worked the week of April 13th. Wolfgang research needs to be put out of business or brought to justice for their unethical practices!!!
