I was working with the client on a new website refresh and we had a final price set in stone. When the job was completed by said date the client refused to pay me saying "I was late on getting the website up". I tried to negotiate our terms and tried to even get a kill fee and the client would not budge. This website was up and in use for 5 months after this debacle happened. Tried to take client to small claims and kept refusing my summons. Eventually I gave up and didn't want to deal with it anymore and left the rest up to karma.
