I decided to buy the DVD "An Introduction to the 6 & 12-String Banjo" from the 'Folk of the Woods' website aka 'Mystic West products".
Good website, plus it looked like a great product, so I was really looking forward to getting it.
Got a typical confirmation email right after ordering, with enthusiastic offers of any assistance if required inc contact details etc etc.
After around 5 weeks of waiting for delivery I decided to email the company for help tracking the order. No reply.
Further emails followed. No reply. Still no DVD.
Contacted Paypal and started a dispute dialog with Mystic West/FOLW. No reply.
Told them I'd escalate to a claim. No reply.
Successful claim now made thanks to Paypal.
However as there's probably no other action to be taken against this company I thought I would warn others about their toxic approach to business and save someone a lot of bother.
So be warned if ordering from this company and check out their historical online feedback (I wish I had).
