I signed up a few days ago with dropshiponauction.com, I quickly realised I had Made a mistake at the signup process as I ended up buying the US Dropship plan And Not the UK Version. (silly me)
I contacted the company in question via there online support system, which i must say they did reply rather quickly, I asked would it be possible to change the plan over to the UK Version, The following reply is from the email they sent me.
Go ahead and purchase the UK plan and we will then refund them once the purchase is complete. If you purchased that website plan, then there will be a cancelation fee of $49.99. There is no way to switch from USA to UK plan because they are handled by different entities. You need to update the ticket when your UK purchase is done so we can issue the partial refund of the USA plan.
Basically there is no way of getting the us plan paid back as it originally cost me the $49.99 to purchase.
So I proceeded to send another email saying I think i will just cancel the plan as I believed I had at least 7 days in which to cancel although I have not seen this on there site, It should be under the consumer credit act.
I was sent a further email.
Unfortunately there is a cancellation fee
That fee is $19.99 to cancel a plan I cant use and had only signed up for 24 hours prior.
I then contacted Paypal and opened a resolution ticket on the company.
After a couple of emails this is what the reply was from paypal.
You have chosen to escalate your dispute to a PayPal claim.By ending communication with the seller, you are asking PayPal to investigate the case and decide the outcome. As part of our investigation, PayPal reviewed
any communication you may have had in the Resolution Centre.
Our investigation into the following transaction is complete. As stated in our User Agreement, the claims process only applies to the delivery of goods. It does not apply to complaints about the attributes or quality of goods received. Therefore, we are unable to reverse this transaction or issue a refund.
So please be warned about this and several other companies OUT THERE!
I made a error judgement and even paypal refused to even consider the case, there reply was with 10 minutes of issuing a claim...
Strange???
If you want to get back at these rogue companies then feel free to copy the above and just keep posting it article site, forums, etc the words in this will get into the search engines, and the companies or rogue traders are forced to close there doors
