This company claimed to be a syndicate service, and publishes people's work online, saying that it will prospect it out to potential buyers.
I never saw a cent for any of my stuff, but moreover, it is now online for all to see, and unfortunately, I was dumb enough to use my real name. Now, whenever anyone searches my name, a bunch of stuff I wrote in high school comes up, absolutely poisoning my chances of becoming a serious, published author.
