I signed up for a 10 day "free trial" from this website. This merchant claims to provide a premium dvd rental service. I added over 140 DVDs to my queue that I was interested in renting. No items were
shipped to me. I cancelled within the free trial period on the 10th day of my free trial.
I emailed the merchant from their website twice indicating that the charge should be refunded. I received email confirmations that each message was received, however neither message was replied to. The company lists no contact phone number on their website or help pages. Description shown on my credit card statement: "Purchase - U R D 8779268339 CA" The phone number 877-926-8339 did not work when I tried calling it. The company has a link for "Live help", but there is always a note "Not currently available"
It is not ethical to charge customers for product that is not delivered by the merchant. Furthermore, when a merchant does not provide a way to contact them regarding such problems, it becomes a scam.
This company currently has a D - from the BBB. For some reason very few people have reported to the BBB. Perhaps because of the nature of the business, they prefer sites like usacomplaints.com that provide some anonymity?
