Focus Learning Rip Off

I signed up with Excel Applications on May 26th based on false pretenses and misrepresentations. I saw an ad for channel 7 news which said that a person had made thousands of dollars in my area. After some research I find that this ad is illegal and currently being investigated by the FTC for all sorts of violations. I was then contacted by Clay Taylor with The Excel Applications who told me that I could make it big with “guaranteed service”, which led me to believe that success was guaranteed. I now know that he was trying to evade any act of earnings claims, yet he clearly participated in unethical mind games to convince me that success with an internet business was a sure thing. Clay also promised that I would make my money back within 3-6 months, which in fact is a violation of the FTC Act.

Also, I was never advised verbally of my right to cancel, nor did Joanne Shriner advise me of my right to cancel. All this for just $15,000! Then I start my coaching program and observe that my coach focused only on eBay. What Clay had suggested was that I would be able to create a website and make money. He didn’t mention that this program was geared around eBay sales. I told the coach of my concern, but he continued to speak of eBay. Needless to say, I never created a website and the last time I spoke with my coach we were still in the process of picking products and discovering a niche. This is unacceptable! I have spent $15,000 for an eBay program?

Sometime after I joined, I was introduced to Strategic Business Solutions in Utah, where they sold me another $3,700 in tax and business setup. They convinced me that it was a “must have” even though I had not even started my business yet. Then shortly thereafter, I was contacted by the Tax Club and Anthony Westbay who pressured me to purchase products from the Tax Club. I was hesitant because of the tremendous amount of products that he insisted I “needed” to have and that I couldn’t be successful without purchasing these products. I also knew that I had already purchased similar products from Strategic Business Solutions, nevertheless, Anthony pressured that I would not be successful unless I purchased more products from him. Another $15,000 from the Tax Club all in the name of necessity and success!

This activity is illegal and is hurting innocent people! I invested over $30,000 to receive absolutely nothing, merely basic training in eBay. These actions are hurtful and have caused me financial and emotional distress that I will not go into in this letter. I deserve all my money returned!
