I ordered a Pittsburgh Steelers thermos from rockinplanet.com on January 5th, 2004 and never received it. The thermos cost $32.95 and shipping was $5.95 for a total of $38.90. On the order form it said 2-7 days for delivery via USPS ground.
I notified them on January 18th, via email, that I hadn't received it yet. They told me it takes a little longer for east coast deliveries.
I emailed them again on the 24th to ask for a tracking number, and a week later was asked for my street address again so that they could track it down.
Later I received an email telling me that a lost package trace was initiated.
On the 20th of February I wrote to them telling them that if I didn't receive the thermos by the end of the month that I would just like a refund. The next day I got an apology and asked whether I wanted a refund or a replacement. I then said that if they could get one to me by the end of the month, 1 week, fine, otherwise I would like a refund.
I never received a response, and have tried contacting 4 times since. The only phone number I found for them was through the Better Business Bureau web site which didn't work. I filed a complaint through them but they said there was nothing that they could do because they could not get ahold of them. So, anyone that orders stuff online, do not order from rockinplanet.com.
