In august I was looking around for a designer to have a few sites I needed done. We found an add on craigslist (I know, not that professional but I didn't know were to turn). We found (creative online marketing llc) and had a meeting to feel them out. When a few weeks had passed by we found that they were the best deal (problem #1, stop looking for the best deal). Once they cashed my deposit check they wanted some info for the site which did take me a week or so to get. Once I got it and gave it to them I went on with my business. After not hearing from them for a few weeks I emailed them and found out their server went down (which I didn't think had anything to do with me or my site since I hadn't been notified) so after a few emails I started to get upset and wanted to meet with them. Now I email them ([email protected] undeliverable, and it worked a week ago) and when I call the new number say's we can't leave voicemails. All in all this is a scam and I would stay away from them. A good way to verify a prospect would be through referals but in this feild those could be fake as well. Email me for more info but stay away. And if you know someone reasonable please have them email me if they are in southern California.
