I hereby would like to report African Consulting Surveyors for software piracy, such as AutoCAD and Leica Geosystems Cyclone.
I've been badly handled for faults I made in my job and now lost my job because of the software. What I've witnessed during my 8-9months working there is software piracy. Not any AutoCAD license is purchased, as well as Leica Cyclone. These are all modelling, scanning and drawing software. A single license of, for example, cost about from R7000.
What this company does, is it gets pirated software, complete all their work and then make a profit from about R300 000. Another point is they take certificates and manipulate it so that they don't have to pay all those fees that goes along with them. Last but not least, they edit videos, which is not even theirs, and take out some parts to make them look like their own made videos.
To me this is unacceptable, because other companies pay thousands of rands to be legit, and then this company comes and think they can out cross that law.
Steps should be taken immediately!!
