Hey Guys, i want to share my nearly-scammed story with you.
I came across a lady (Sangeetha Sebastien) from Bangalore who said that she is a representative of a knows Indian cellular wholesale company with whom I dealt in past. She used to call me, ask for the pricing of various cellphones and tablets every week.
Once she called me and said that she can get me phones directly from the supplier of the Indian company and for that she needs a small commission from my side. I was OK with it and told her that I need 2000 units of Samsung i9000. She gave me an attractive price after two days of wait and then she said that I need to pay some deposit and rest upon Inspection in new york. I was OK with it as I already dealt with that company. To my surprise, I got to know that she wants the money in her personal bank account. I asked what about the account where i used to
pay. She said she wont accept money in that account. Rather she will be getting money in her personal account. I rejected and so she gave me account number of the supplier (and other details).
Now, I found it really shady to transfer money to a company's account whom I dont know so I called up my guy in that woman's company. When i told him about this, he said that he was in shock and he never knew that she was using their company's client database to do all these shady
business. He told me that the supplier info provided by Sangeetha was fake and he never dealt with such company.
I somehow saved my $35,500 which i would have lost if I would have wired the funds.
So, please do not deal with this crook women named Dr. Sangeetha Sebastein from Bangalore.
