Deceptive and fraudulent subscription and billing practices

On May 2, I agreed to subscribe for the one-month option at $29.95. A few days later, it came to my attention that my cc account had instead been billed $99.94. I emailed their customer service dept in an attempt to get them to refund me the difference, but they continue to be deceiptful and blatantly misrepresent the facts. I have since cancelled the subscription effective May 6. The following is a transcript of the email exchanges between myself and representatives of Zoosk:

Why was my credit card charged $99.94? I never agreed to this amount. I signed up for a 1-month membership @ $30 to learn about this site. Based on my personal experience so far, it appears that it was a total waste of my money.
I expect an immediate credit for this overage, or I will contest the entire charge outright with my bank. This is a total fraud.

Thanks for contacting Zoosk Customer Support. Our records indicate that you successfully purchased a 6-month Subscription on May 2 for $99.94. The purchase price also included a one-time Activation Fee of $24.99. This fee covers the start-up cost of the Subscription. It will not apply to renewal charges.
Your Subscription is now active and ready for you to enjoy. The benefits of being a Subscriber on Zoosk include:

-Find out who viewed your profile
-Get full access to ZSMS features

Agreeing to a 6-mo subscription is a complete fabrication. Your site is a fraud, and I'm reporting it to my bank as such. I'll also be sure to alert the Internet community as to your spurious dealings.

Thank you for contacting Zoosk Customer Support. Im sorry that you are disappointed with your recent Subscription purchase. Please recall that we displayed a confirmation screen before completing the transaction. This screen showed the total purchase amount, including all applicable taxes and Activation Fees.in order to complete the purchase you were required to view and accept this confirmation. We have established this confirmation procedure because all Subscription purchases are non-refundable.

Subscriptions purchased with a credit or debit card will automatically renew until canceled by the user. Zoosks renewal policy is outlined during the purchase process. It is also stated in the Terms of Service and Help section: http://www.zoosk.com/tos

If you prefer to not renew, please cancel the Subscription before the next renewal date. You can view your renewal date by clicking settings and then clicking Subscription. To cancel your Subscription, please follow the directions below:
- Log in to Zoosk.com from a desktop, laptop, or tablet computer
- Click on 'settings', found at the top of any Zoosk.com page
- Click on 'Subscription', found on the left side of the page
- Click on 'Cancel My Subscription'
- To proceed with the cancellation click No, please cancel my Subscription
- Provide an answer to one of the survey questions to successfully complete the cancellation

Once you complete your cancellation, you will receive a confirmation email.
Your canceled Subscription will expire at the end of your billing cycle: November 4,201.
You have Subscriber benefits until the end of your billing cycle because you have paid for this time. Please be aware that if you deactivate your Zoosk account after canceling the Subscription, all Subscriber features will be forfeited.
We appreciate your interest in Zoosk, and we apologize for any inconvenience.

Keep putting lipstick on that pig of a company that you work for, but you're still a fraud. You can keep sending me your tripe, but it won't change the fact that Zoosk practices unethical and fraudulent activities. I will enjoy putting your company out of business... I will make it my personal mission.
