If you are considering buying any graphics card by PNY, don't. Their warranty and return policy is a scam. If you return your card (via RMA) they can send you any cheap card they want to replace it, that is the way this company does business. It is NOT a reputable company! BUYER BEWARE!
I bought a high-end NVidia card from XFX ($400), and registered it online right away. Within 6 weeks, the card died. I am a professional video editor, using Adobe CS5, which has the mercury playback engine. ONLY NVidia cards are compatible, so that is why I purchased and NVidia card.
XFX RMA department, contacted me admitting the card was faulty, and would ship new card. When I inquired what card they were shipping, I was told HD6850 (ATI - $170) which is NOT compatible with my editing software's mercury playback engine. When I informed XFX about this problem, they virtually said, too bad, we don't carry NVidia cards anymore, and we think this is a better card. (that's like comparing Volvos to Volkswagons, they both start with "V" don't they?)
I have refused delivery from FedEx as advised by legal counsel, and will persue this legally. The faulty card has cost me a tremendous amount of lost time and revenue in my business, and has damaged a newly built custom pc. I've been in business 28years, and could NEVER stay in business if I treated my customers like this, and I don't believe XFX will stay in business much longer if they continue to be irresponible and unaccountable.
If you are purchasing anything with the XFX logo on it, I suggest you consider a more reputable company such as EVGA, or PNY. The warranty from XFX is a joke.
