MyDownloadHQ.com, The file you searched for is offered provided you join. They don't have the file and they also hit charge $50 on the sly

This company false advertises that they have files you are looking for and then don't end up having them after you sign up. They get your name/card/etc. This company claims to have files on their server for download. Sometimes it is music, applications, etc. It is a download service. The problem is that they get you to join by saying they have something they don't. I joined their service because the page told me they had the application I was seeking.

When you sign up for your $1.99 trial, you discover that they never really looked to see if they have the file at all. They just take the text you entered in search and make it look like they have that on four different servers. The thing they had you join to download doesn't exist in real life though.

So, most people leave disappointed, but don't call to bitch because there is only a charge of $1.99. Unfortunately, they try to sneak in a "one time membership fee" of $50 after 7 days. They don't send a receipt like they did for the first charge. I believe this is so people get outside of the 60 day window to do a Visa dispute. If you call, they won't refund your money either. They claim their system won't allow them to. What a joke.

The bottom line is that I joined a site to get a specific thing they claimed to have. After joining, one finds they don't have it and they didn't even look. False Advertising They also take great pains to hide the notice that your trial will convert to a subscription if you don't cancel in 7 days. This company has LOADS of sites (Google "Sightview Services Limited").

I talked to customer services who slipped that there were 30 people with my name for www.MyDownloadHQ.com So this tells me that a TON of people have been taken by this firm. So for this one site people with my EXACT name have been defrauded out of $1498 dollars. Times that amount by every other name signed up for this site. Times THAT number again by the 30 or so URL identities and you have BIG MONEY they are stealing. SOMEONE Please file a class action to put these unethical dogs down.
