Here is my email I sent to Web Inceptions on feb 17 for selling domains in violation of Google Webmaster guidelines
FYI: I'm not looking for any kind of refund or compensation so
consider this e-mail as free advice and valuable feedback for your
company!!!
Let me start by telling you that I've been building sites for 4 years. I do all my own SEO for all my sites
And have done pretty well for myself. I'm not an expert but I
understand SEO and have taught many people SEO over the last few years. I
have optimized dozens of sites for search engine indexing.
When I purchased this domain I noticed there was a problem with the Google indexing. I was hoping it had been blocked like most “parked” domains get blocked from Google's indexing. I knew there could be a chance it was in violation of Google's Webmaster Guidelines. My plan was to add quality content to the domain then submit my sitemap for a crawl request. I have been through the process of waking up a parked domain a few times before. I was not able to get Google to crawl and index the site. It was then clear to me the domain was “blacklisted” or “banned”.
I e-mailed Google after some time had passed and got this e-mail message back, …
“We'll review the site. If we find that it's no longer in violation of our Webmaster
Guidelines, we'll reconsider our indexing of the site. Please allow
several weeks for the reconsideration request. We do review all
requests, but unfortunately we can't reply individually to each
request.”
With a quick glance at your main site I notice many of your domains
looked to be in the same status. Either you don't care, you don't know,
or you're pretending that you don't know. Either way you should fix the
problem.
I hope this information doesn't fall on deaf ears!
Here is the email they sent back to me.
None of our domains have ever been banned from Google. Someone is telling you some B.S., probably trying to sell you some "SEO services", it's a common ploy and scare tactic.
Note to seller
Your running an auto program on your domains that posts
content. Your setup is somehow in violation of googles TOS. Fix this problem or
let people know about the blacklist status. I will remove this post when
problem is solved.
