Richard J. Salesky, dba/[email protected], is a con artist. About a year ago I was selling a jeep.
Salesky called me with a sob story about how he needed the jeep for his business, but was unable to pay the full amount all at once.
Being the soft-hearted person I am, I listened to his story and decided that it would be alright for him to make weekly payments. At his insistence, there was a notarized sales contract drawn up (by himself). I went as far as to ask him to have the vehicle checked out to be sure it was in proper running condition, since I really didn't know the vehicle.
He did just that. I even talked to the party who was checking it. The mechanic told me there was nothing wrong with it and Salesky was getting a great deal.
Needless to say, it's been over a year. After bounced checks, numerous e-mails, phone calls and personal visits, I am still out $5700.00!!!
He tells me the transmission went out and he had to put new axle shoes on it, therefore, will not pay the balance owed.
Talk about a good business person!
I noticed I wasn't the only one he burned!
