I signed up for Quibids the online auction site. It requires your credit or debit card information which I provided at the time I signed up. However, it gave NO indication that my card would be charged for anything immediately upon signing up. Yet the second I finished putting in my debit card info needed for registration, the screen froze and said something like "Congratulations your card was charged $60 for the probid package" WHAT? I did not purchase ANY package. There was no screen with choices. I was given no choice. There was no accidental hitting of any buttons. It flat out charged my card arbitrarily without authorization and I see from reading this site that I am not the only one this has happened to. There is NO mention anywhere on site or small print of charging your card automatically. I am beyond angry. I have already sent a message to their customer service department and filed a fraud report with my bank. Stay away from quibids. This is flat out FRAUD.
