Tripadvisor.com has to be one of the entities in this country that does the most damage to small business over the entire world. And it is going to get worse. Tripadvisor.com allows any person to wirte most anything they want on their website to damage smalll business.
Rebutals to these so-called "reviews" are often times sent back over and over again for editing - because they do not want the business to set the records entirely straight. They think they are protected by law to allow others to commit libel. However, when their reviewers are being threatened with lawsuits if they not remove their libelous review - the "red flag" the business...
While tripadvisor.com is raking it in thru their travel sites, hotels who pay them a yearly fee and malicious, disgruntled and low IQ travelers - government is killing small business owners - as if the economy is not yet dead enough.
