I signed up with CCNow and "used" their credit card service for a year. But since only one customer ever placed an order through them, I decided it was a waste of money to keep paying the monthly fees. I couldn't determine how to unsubscribe because the Client Agreement only stated the agreement would be terminated "after cancellation notice is received."
I e-mailed them on October 1 to tell them I was cancelling the agreement. There was no response, so I e-mailed them again on October 15. Still no response, and the monthly charge continued to appear on the October and November credit card statements.
To cut a long story short, I plowed through a 15-page FAQ found on their website on November 15 and figured out how to cancel. I promptly e-mailed them again, and requested reversal of the October and November monthly charges on my credit card statement.
This they have so far refused to do, insisting that I was told when I signed up how to cancel. That is simply not true. Even if it were so, it is utterly rude and poor customer service to ignore e-mails requesting information. My professional colleagues are being warned not to sign up with CCNow.
