I purchased a motherboard, cpu and ram chips, total price $388.88. I put them in my computer and they didn't work. I took them to a local computer shop and had them tested, they were deemed defective. I had to wait an excessive amount of time and after several emails and phone calls, finally got a Return Merchandise Authorization.
It took over 4 weeks to get my credit and then, they only credited me back $279.63. Their policy is "purchase price less 15% or current market price less 15% whichever is lower". This open ended policy allows them to legally rob the consumer. They don't even have to sell anything, just ship defective parts and charge this excessive restocking charge.
