A pop-up screen run by the company offered a "free" pass to what appeared to be a technical forum since I was trouble shooting a problem when the screen appeared. The requirement to provide credit card information supposedly was to screen out frivolous inquiries.
My credit card statement dated 11/24/03 contains the following charges:
wpi*ifriends internet 800-243-9726 FL $1.00
wpi*ifriends vip 800-243-9726 FL $5.95
I did not intentionally authorize these charges.
