Re: Fujitsu Order # 724841
I have a 16 page document of all of the email correspondence between myself and Fujitsu for this case.
Fujitsu failed to give me a 100% refund on my defective computer.
This computer was personally returned by me to Fujitsu in Mississauga, Ontario Canada with their approval and Authorization Number within the 14 day purchase period.
Fujitsu insists that the computer be returned at the customers own expense, which in my opinion is costly and unreasonable compared to other companies such as Lenovo and HP.
Their original sales agent promised during the original phone order that I could be given a 100% "no questions asked" refund if I was dissatisfied with the computer. [I have a witness to this conversation and Fujitsu should have recorded it]
After protracted negotiations Fujitsu reduced the restocking fee from 15% to 10% which I object to. They issued a credit of $1454.37 on my credit card but I want a 100% refund; therefore Fujitsu owes me $142.70.
Here are their emailed calculations: $50 discount and Restocking Fee The discount of $50 and the 10% Restocking Fee (as reduced from the original 15% fee) will be applied to your refund as follows: Refund Original Purchase Price: ($1,377.00) Add $50 Discount: ($ 50.00) Refund Sub-total: ($1,427.00) Charge 10% Re-stocking Fee: $ 142.70 Refund Sub-total: ($1,284.30) Refund Ontario Recycling Fee: ($ 2.75) Refund Sub-total: ($1,287.05) Refund HST @ 13%: ($ 167.32) REFUND TOTAL: ($1,454.37)
