Ripoff - internet service provider gets paid 2 months fees at a minimum for sign-up

I signed up for the service. On downloading there program something went wrong. I had to restore my computer in order to get back online. This was Nov. 11.

About a week later I called them and decided I didn't want the service. I was informed that a 30 day notice was needed to cancel. I said ok. So I have to pay this month and 7 days.

The guy said no you have to pay this month and next month. I said what. I've never even been logged on to the ISP and I have to pay 2 months?

He said yes we don't give partial payments back.

Beware of this scam.
