[email protected] re-activate your Chase account fraudulant email phishing scam or worse

I knew right away it was a scam and not actually from Chase Bank since I am sure Chase would be in the name the email was from... Which was [email protected]. The object of a scam like this is usually to get you to click on the link in the email and it take you to a fraudulant site where they will get you account numbers, passwords and other personal information to do who knows what with.

Don't EVER click on links left in an email no matter how legit it seems. It is easy for a scammer to copy and paste a logo of the legit comapny into the email and it does fool many..

Here is a screen shot of the email. If you get it just mark it as spam and delete it. I logged onto my Chase account (using the browser, NOT the link the scammers left) and the account is fine.
