Beware! At first this seems like a great deal, and some marketing method for companies to advertise. They Hide behind reputable names like publishers clearing house and their accountants.
This is a total scam ripoff not unlike the pyramid schemes of the 80's and early 90's. Yes, someone will get a $50 gift card for like $2.in the meantime they have scammed people out of over $150 for it. It appears they use their own bots to ensure that every item they "auction off" sell at 2-5 times the value. When a penny auction sells at $2 - they get over $150 for a $50 item.
This is gambling at its worst... You would do much better to play lotto, powerball etc. Or even give your money to casinos. The odds are the worst of any gambling on earth!
The only one winning when you patronize bid cactus are the thieves that run it.
