Deletes Accounts And Steals Commissions

The affiliate program Commission Junction will close your account at the drop of a hat and steal legitimately earned commissions from you. After hearing the stories of other disgruntled webmasters around the internet I put it to the test. I put a long dead commission junction link on a adult website as they are very sensitive to free speech or anything they don't agree with. This text link was one of their URL's without their name or anyone else's in it and it was from a website that hasn't even been apart of commission junction for quite some time.in fact when clicked the link goes nowhere what so ever. Therefore nobody would be tainted in anyway by having the link there. There was no way to earn money from it what so ever. It was specifically set-up as a test to see if they have a system in place to collect as much money as possible under the guise of someone violating their terms and conditions. Sure enough they somehow found it and immediately deleted my entire account which encompassed many legitimate sites and links. They also kept all the commissions I earned from legitimate links which is blatant fraud. All they sent was an email and refused to reply to me in any way, shape, or form. Just imagine if you have many sites and their links all over the internet and you accidentally place a link on the wrong site, add content they don't approve of, or some hacker does it. You could lose all your commissions and have wasted a lot of time placing commission junction links everywhere. Their clients are also implicated in the fraud as well. I advise you to avoid signing up for the Commission Junction affiliate program. If you see a site you want to promote and it turns out they only offer an affiliate program through Commission Junction then it would be best to avoid it and find a comparable site or product to promote. If these people were legitimate then they'd treat people better and contact them about correcting any issues that may be by accident. Just the fact that they will dismiss people instantly and take their hard earned cash speaks volumes about their business model.
