On April 28, online discount membership made an unauthorized debit from my checking account in the amount of $ 34.19. I have never heard of this company. I contacted my bank and I was given a copy of the front and back of the check. The front of the check shows a customer service number and a website address. After much difficulity, I was able to reach a lady at the customer service number. She stated that the would have to decide whether I go my money back. While they were deciding, another unauthorized debit was made on my checking account in the amount of $ 29.00.
I have not heard anything back from this company. The website does not work at all. After explaining to my bank what happened, then opened a new checking account for me and told me to keep working with the company for a while to give them an adequate opportunity to rectify the matter.
These fradulent checks are being deposited at the Plaza Bank. The check does not have the company's address; however, the back of the check has online discount membership's bank routing number and account number.
