Digital River element 5 / Avast!
False Advertizing

These Electronic River / Avast!"element 5" people... (I've mentioned the various articles about Avast! 4/Digital River. These are probably the identical people. They're altering their title as merchandise campaigns arrive.) I maintain a duplicate of my bill, and maintain it preserved in Google Documents, however the service keycode (that they zipped-up it can not be seen!) doesn't register the prouct (avast! Internet Security 5). After I visited the DRe5 site to protest, their program requested me to enter my current email address and also the last 5 numbers of the charge card. I did so this, as well as their program informs me there is no such purchase! I've the bill! Bill for purchase # 333084685 dated 31-MAY. Today, after I attempted to obtain support fom the alleged avast forum, the issue got a whole lot worse: I'd to join up for that forum, which demands my current email address, a user-name, along with a code generation. I did so all that, and, you know what, after I attempt to really register, it requires me easily "forgot" my code and provides me the choice to receive "another" reactivtion through mail. It keeps achieving this repeatedly again. I've about five "bill service" e-mails in by in-box. They're evidently ineffective, atleast in my experience. I can not actually contact a "indication" for that code, as their program indicates, since it never provided mean chance to create or react to one within the first-place! The truth is, I did so NOT forget my code. Today I believe that somebody besides me (ideally only these DOCTOR component fools) who reset my code, has use of the avast! WEBforum from OUR mail account. I attempted to produce a fresh avast! Webforum consideration, but obviously I can't make use of a diverse user-name since, "another person with that current email address currently is just a participant." There's no means I'm providing these folks with another email. Our avast! Internet Security 5.0 continues to be not authorized (to not me, anyhow) based on my backup of the program. Franky, I can not tell be it these DOCTOR component 5 people or avast! Who's at fault. Possibly both.
