I'm a former aide at Easter Seals Of Southeastern PA. Bracy Designs was the consulting company that serviced all of our locations in that region for computers and phones. Easter Seals helps disabled children to become productive.
My problem with Bracy Designs is that, Chris Bracy had no regards to the safety and well being of these children that go there, as he would take down the phone system, at often times the computer systems without any notice to the teachers, or the aides. We need our systems online or we are unable to dial 911 if one of the children goes into a seizure which we have quite ofen as my classroom dealt with children with seizure disorders.
I found out that Chris Bracy took our phone system down for no reason other than to do some testing in the middle of a work day. Needless to say the worst happened as one of the students in class had a seizure and we were unable to dial 911 from the phones, and our cell phones are not effective as there is something in the building that blocks cell signals. We were lucky to be near an emergency exit so another aide could use her cell to dial 911, and in the end the child was taken to the hospital and he was ok. That still does not excuse it as when you need to dial 911 a few seconds can be a matter of life or death. Chris Bracy should consider those things before he takes down vital systems for no reason at all. I think he is in bed with Carl Webster the CEO, because this happens often with Bracy Designs, and Mr. Webster does not lift a finger to fix this ongoing problem.
