What can you expect from Roxanne Taylor? Should you hire her as a web designer, do so at your own peril. I wasn't savvy enough to look into her (non existent references) and I got burned.
After my web inquiry, Roxanne quoted me a site that she would design, with a logo, for $2200. I received her contract and paid within minutes.
A few weeks in, with no site to speak of, Roxanne informed me that I needed to purchase photographs (this woman does this for a living, yet couldn't anticipate costs). To get my site done, I agreed.
I guess I made that easy because less than 24 hours later, she decided to add another $1300 fee, for something INCLUDED in her intial quote, but would now be an additional charge. When I questioned the extra expenses, she emailed me 24 times in one hour&rambling about bi-polar and different medications. I truly felt bad for her.
Sadly, her emails turned personal&as are her attacks on the internet about me. I am much younger than Roxanne, yet she persists on calling me "aging." I can only imagine how she feels about herself&and maybe that accounts for her ugliness on the internet?
After my complaints about the additonal charges, Roxanne copied a picture of my home on Google maps and threatened me. She has alluded to a lawyer and I have hoped she had one. No lawyer would recommend the extensive threats and voicemails she has left me... Unfortunately, she "copies" a lawyer on all her emails... But he or she has no domain name (ironic for a web designer) and there have been no legal papers in the 4 months to date.
Roxanne has personally threatened me and also, since she knew my dad was sick with cancer, she made it a point to email and say she hoped he would die. Roxanne is a sad and dangerous woman.
My initial thoughts from viewing her work were that she was very talented and to this day, I still think she probably is, however, unfortunately, she is a bully and she threatens customers.
If you want a site with some form of customer service, avoid this woman at all costs. I have hired someone else to finally design my site&so Roxanne decided to register a VERY similar domain name and has told me that she has no interest in what I do, but she will launch a site to steal my business. Is this someone you would trust with your internet site... Let alone your password?
I am sorry I ever found this crazy person on Google and I hope she gets the help she so desperately needs... in the meantime, Roxanne, you WILL be hearing from my lawyer. I don't have a pretend contact.
