Discovered pending charge on my USAA credit card on 27 March am. The actual pending charge also shows for 27 March. Card has not been used for anything except Redbox and Vidals Pets. Neither advises use or affiliation with RebateGiant.com.
So... Either the vendors I used have had their security compromised or Rebategiant.com is being used as a "test" site to verify cards.
If you receive a pending charge from Rebategiant.com and have not engaged them directly, you should immediately notify your card provider and have account cancelled as well as have charge investigated.
Rebategiant.com may be liable as they may not provide the most current security protocols for credit card processing.
