On January 04 I did order a trial sofware with my roomates permission on his debit card online from ispeedway.com for. 99 cents. I never activated the trial software. Then on the 12th of January there was a charge on my roomates checking account in the amount of $129.95. I was totally mislead, I never seen anything anywhere that I would be charged with the amount of 129.95.
I called in on January 19 after being notified of these charges and spoke to Customer Service Manager "George West" about removing these charges. I explained how I had never activated the software. He would not do anything for me except cancel the software so I would not be charged anymore fees.
How is it that on Jan 12 this monthly charge of 129.95 is charged to roomates account, and on Jan 19 they are not able to refund these charges but they can cancel my website status so that I have no access to the services they just charged me for. So for 7 days they find it acceptable to cancel the service although I supposibly am paid through the month.
I am so disgusted with the way this was advertised, I just gave this company 129.95 and for what? Nothing. For 7 days of something that if I choose I did not want it it had to be cancelled to keep from charging me more fees.
My next call will be to my local tv News station to air this as well!
