Well I decided that I no longer want to play World of Warcraft, so I figured I would try and sell my account. I got a big fat offer from gametag (thought it sounded fishy and too good to be true. But I didnt care since it was a small chance of making some money) I waited about a month and no payment. I wrote them stating that the account would be closed in two days and I wouldnt pay for a renewal of my subscription, so instead of pay me, that very day they decided to get my account banned. I guess they figured they would do what they could right? They could have made a lot of money considering the very rare mount, but no, they decided to do something stupid like run a bot. I could probably get my account back anyways, but I don't care so I wont. Lol.
I haven't logged in once since I gave them my account info, and I had reformatted before giving them all the login info / new email etc, so I am 100% sure it was them. There was no keylogger or anything else on my comp.
Good thing I really could care less about the game or the money anyways, and I kinda figured something like this would be a scam. I am done with WoW, but I figured I would let everyone else know about it. Dont sell or buy from gametag/gamepal/etc etc. Theyre just like chinese goldfarmers, even if they claim theyre US based. Pfft!
