This started in Oct. I Was browsing craigslist and found a laptop for 331.00. So I responded. I was sent a link to an online store called Laptop Garage Sale.
I called and it was legit (so I thought) We had conversated back and forth for approx. 2 1/2 months because I am not computer lit. And explained my needs. He agreed to accommodate all for the original price. And make 2 installment payments. The first one was thru paypal for 150.00 on Jan. 15. Since iI was on a borrowed computer.in march I sent another 210.00. I couldn't get the other one done thru pay pal so he told to send in a money order. I did. I received a laptop in Feb. And iwas so embarressed. It was all scratched up, didn't hold a charge and pretty much gutted. This was not anything what e had agreed on. No web cam, carrying case, usb cord, nothing. I had sent several e mails and phone calls and finally in June I got an e, mail to send back and he would make it rightI was asked to send it to a different address from where it was sent from. So I did. At this point, I was curious just how far he was going to take this situation. (I paid Insurance on it and requested confirmation so It could be traced) At this time, I knew I was taken. I waited another 2 months. Luckily, the post office remembered me and we ran a trace. He had received my laptop almost 2 months prior. Meanwhile, I had continued my phone calls and e mails to him. No response. I called pay pal and it was to late for them to do anything at this point. Its been a year, now and still no laptop, or refund. I had discussed this matter to a family member of mine and she assisted me in a further search and sent me this link. She called him and he answered and she got hung up on. He has been found (to this day) still selling laptops on line, advertising thru twitter, face book, Google, and many other online places to continue to get free money. This man need to be stopped. I have reported him to my local police dept. And in Lititz Pa. The reporting officer has mentioned that there have been other cases like mine. I have reported this to the local news tv station, FBI, BBB, and e mailing all my friends asking to please forward a warning to everyone. I am also contacting the licenses board in regards to his business to be shut down. He needs to go to jail and lock the key. He is a manipulator, shares empathy. And sounds very convincing. BE AWARE!!! L LETS STOP HIM FROM VICTIMIZING ANYONE ELSE., PLEASE It's beyond getting a refund, for me, at this point!!! I am beyond mad and disappointed in his professioonal abilities.
