It all started with an enquiry to an organisation called Approved Index who were very helpful in taking my details and letting me know that 6 of the countrys best web companies would contact me to provide quotes for my new website. Sure enough by the next day I had started to receive my quotes and all was looking good. Then I mentioned to FusionSoft that they were in the running, and it was between them and two other organisations. Thats when the dirty tactics started and it should have really sounded alarm bells then. I always believe that if a company has to try to win my business by pointing out the negatives about their competitors, and not the positives about themselves then they have something to hide. Fusionsoft told me to look on a review website and to search for the other companies that I was considering. Looking back as I have since, the reports about these companies seem to have been written by the same person!
During my investigating (which by now was taking up more of my time than it should) I decided to check out some of the references of the companies I was considering and asked some prying questions.
