I was contacted by this company called, Dream Services personal assistant &VIP Concierge for employment opportunities, the Human resource Manager Christopher smith sent me an email stating that he got my resume off of one of the employment web sites. He offered me a job as a Personal Assistant or a virtual assistant and a personal assistant.
I accepted and signed a contract for a week probation, which turned into 2 weeks because Christopher the HR manager got sick after 2 days and I did not know this until the fifth day when a received an email from someone named Gregory, stating that Christopher would be back the next Tuesday.
So I had been on my computer and by my phone for 3 days with no contact from the company; so when Christopher came back on late Tuesday evening he had another assignment for me to find an item that one of their clients had broken and wanted to replace.
I looked around my area and called businesses and no one could replace the item here in the United States. I emailed the business in Russia that Christopher had given me and stated that this is where the item originally came from and the guy at this emailed stated that the item would cost either $19,927.82 or $20,639.58 total to replace the item and that the person needed half to start the process of shipping the item; which was $9,252.21 in US money.
Christopher wanted me to give him my checking account information so that the customer could wire the $9,252.21 to my account and I take it out and send it by Western Union to the person in Russia. I refused and he stated that I was not going to get paid because I did not complete my probation.
I believe that I should have gotten paid because I had done everything up until he wanted me to do something illegal which was not in the contract.

Process various inquiries to enhance their quality of life. E) Assist with Corporate Gifting (includes providing thoughtful ideas, locating and purchasing, wrapping and delivering as needed): f) Possess fluent knowledge of the city and geography of surrounding areas. Knowledge of the restaurants, amenities, clubs and tourism industries to provide to hotel guests.
G) Arrangements for VIP or out-of-town guests (includes ideas, research, scheduling and booking, communication and follow-up as needed) h) Entertainment arrangements (includes ideas, research, scheduling and booking, communication and follow-up as needed).
Your beginning rate of compensation will be $2,500.00 per month.in addition to this compensation, you also will be paid a commission based on customers bonus. You will be reimbursed for out-of-pocket expenses, in accordance with our policies as may be changed from time to time.
We also have a benefits package. You will be permitted to participate in the following benefits, in accordance with our policies as may change from time to time, and after meeting the applicable eligibility requirements, if any: - Health insurance - Life insurance - Reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenses (transport)

I tried to explain to Christopher that I was uncomfortable with doing what he wanted me to do and that I believed that it was illegal.
