On August 21 I ordered two 24-packs of petri dishes from Scientific Equipment of Houston, and paid with my debit card through Google. My payment was accepted, yet has never been charged against my bank account.in the meantime, the order has not been shipped. Three phone calls to Scientific Equipment of Houston have gone unanswered, and there seems to be no way to register a complaint directly with Google, nor any way to find out if Scientific Equipment is even still in business. Was my order not shipped because the payment didn't get processed? If so, I would have expected a communication to that effect from Google. Was it not shipped because the vendor doesn't exist any more? What is going on?
This is a silly small amount of money ($18.50), but these dishes are important to a project that has a short time line, and is important to me.
