Another person caught by the rip off memrobillia seller known as NE Autographs. I originally purchased two autographed posters via the web of Tombstone and Gladiator. The following day I decided to change my order and cancelled the Tombstone poster. This was acknowledged by NE Autographs as fine. Checked Paypal and found that purchase for two items had gone through. Contacted credit card company and was informed it was to late to cancel transaction. Issued another email to NE Autographs and got no response. Sent a further email a week later still no response. Decided to wait and see what comes through the mail.
Gladiator poster arrives through the mail 3 weeks from date of order (no tombstone or refund). Checked Gladiator poster and found that it is different to the one visually presented on their website (russell crowe in standing position) as to what I was received ie russell crowe in kneeling position.
Send email to Ne Autographs asking to fix my order ie poster received is not what I ordered (want Gladiator poster with russell in standing position) and also queried where was my refund for tombstone. No response. Send another email 3 days later indicating that if I do not here from anyone within the next few days I would be best to contact the authorities. Mentioned that it is even more difficult and questionable that they have no other contact information ie phone number.
I finally receive a response from NE Autographs indicating that I have received what I ordered and that it was never promised I would get what was visually presented on website and my refund was forwarded to paypal quite a while ago. It further mentions that I am complaining unnecessarily and should try and come to a compromise? Paypal have never received anything and they are legitimate.
Issued a further email in response to this unsual email with regard to my complaint and have not heard from them since.
I have three different addresses for this company and it appears after reviewing your other reports about these people that they are not legitimate and are in the business to rip people off. They sucked me in good as their website looks professional and leading up to the sale they answer your emails and make promises. After the sale has occurred you are snookered.
I do not have the means to knock on any of their address doors as I am in Australia but if the police are investigating it should be easy to track them down i. E post office boxes need id to obtain.
I just wish for my full refund and I question the authenticity of the poster that I did receive which I don't want.
