Consumer beware! They take your merchandise and don't send you your check!

On June 1, I sold some dvd's to secondspin.com.

Here is their email which I received on June 9.

"We're writing to let you know that we received and inspected the items you recently
sold at SecondSpin.com as part of order #4390021.

They've been inspected and you've received $20.77"

I sent them another email on June 16 asking them where is my check?

Here's their reply,

"Hello,

Checks are automatically sent out three business days after the order
has been processed and the check-in confirmation email sent.

Checks usually take one to three weeks in the mail.in some rare cases,
it may take up to 1 month for delivery.

Please let us know if you do not receive your check by 7/10/09.

Please feel free to contact us if we can be of further assistance.

I live in California and they're also located in California. I waited 6 weeks and I still didn't receive my check. Can you imagine anyone else living out of California? They'd have to wait a year to get a check, this company is a complete scam.

Here's another email I received on 6/22/09.

"Hello,

Do you see what she did there? She changed 7/10/09 to 7/12/09... What gives?

On 7/13/09, after a month of waiting,

"Hello,

Thank you for contacting us.

We did not claim to have delivered your check in the previous emails we
sent to (insert email here).

We asked that you inform us if you'd not received the check by the 12th."

On 7/16/09

"Hello,

Thank you for getting back to us.

Again, our apologies for your check not reaching you.

We will contact our Accounting Department to investigate the status of
the check for your order #4390021. If your check cannot be tracked down,
a new check for $20.77 will be sent to your verified address: "

Today, I received this email full of lies

"Hello,

Thank you for getting back to us.

As we previously stated, the check #71407 sent for order #4390021 was
deposited and cleared our bank on 6/17/09."

First of all, they never sent me my check. If they did, I wouldn't have emailed them so many times. Second and most important of all. I have MY ENTIRE CHECKING BANK STATEMENTS FROM MY BANK WHICH EVEN THE MANAGER OF THE BANK DECLARED, THAT NO CHECK WAS DEPOSITED FROM THESE SCUMBAGS!

I called these guys 24/7 and they never picked up their phones, they have an answering machine that tells you to send a detailed email message and they'll respond via email quickly. You want proof, call them yourselves.

These guys robbed me. I'm planning to file a small claims lawsuit against these guys and get quadruple the money back. Buyers & sellers beware!
