I ordered a CD for a part-time job on the internet. The total cost was advertised to be $1.97 for postage of the CD. I never received a CD. Within 3 days of my order, there was a debit for $72.71, within a week, there was a debit for $38.84 and the following week another charge for $72.71. This is a total of $183.84 within 3 weeks. I did not authorize any debits from my account. I have contacted the 3 company names and phone numbers provided by my bank as the responsible party. All of the 3 companies promised to refund my money, 2 months later, I still do not have my money and 2 more debits have taken place. I tried to put a stop payment on the account, but the debits each come from a different company making stop payments useless (and costly). To date, and within 2 months these companies have taken $496.68 from my account. The phone numbers listed at the bank are all overseas companies, however the addresses are located across the United States.
